This medicine may be used to treat other conditions as decided by your doctor.

This medicine should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. It may be taken at meal times to help relieve stomach discomfort. Try to take it at the same time each day.

It may be necessary for you to take Ferrous Gluconate for a long time. Your doctor will advise you on the treatment timeframe.
What should I do if I have forgotten to take this medicine?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.

What side effects could I experience?
Ferrous Gluconate may cause any of the following side effects: constipation, darks stools, nausea, stomach discomfort, and vomiting. If you have constipation, this can be relieved with medicines such as laxatives and adequate fluid intake.
